Do you need to take the roof liner off to remove this?

 

Mine wont close so im trying to think of way to bodge it shut until I can get a new one

Dont need the roof lining down, Just 2 little plastic clips.

the ones either side on the inside of it?

I pulled both of those and nothing happened, i guess you have to be tough with it?

I pryed behind the front and it came out of the car, if it won't close probably the metal spring retaining pins, push them back into line and it should be fine
