Compass Module

Featured Replies

I've seen that some mk5 Golf, in the US at least had a compass module fitted, so that even without sat nav, you got the compass in the dash display.

Is it possible to fit this on a pre-FL Octavia?

I've found one on AliExpress that comes with the loom and module for ~£15

Well..it's direct to the point I suppose.

I asked the seller:

Hi,
Will this definitely be compatible with 2005 Jetta/Golf Mk5 1K?
Does it come with fitting instructions?
Regards, Sam.

And got back.

yes

Lol. Yeah at least they were direct.

Where does this module go and where does it connect to?

It goes under the headlining at the rear of a Golf.

Most of the info I can find is about removing it to fit a sat nav, and not adding it.

I love the chinese, I wonder if the bits they sell are from the plant that manufactures for Skoda or just hokey. Either way you can't argue with their prices. I just got the 2015 style skoda badge for the boot to match my Octavia one for under £7 lol
