Swing Radio Removal tools?

Featured Replies

hello all,

newbie here to Briskoda forums, I have tried searching all over Briskida/the net in general, but I cannot find a sure answer to my question, I am hoping the someone on here can help.

I have a 2015 Octavia, and want to remove the Swing radio to replace it with a Chinese unit i just bought from Icebox, could anyone point me to the correct removal tools please? as I keep finding many variants of these, and yet none that say they are for Octavia MKIII

I have this stereo fitted:  1888911678.jpg it has two slots along the top to put in a tool, was hoping to find the correct tool to not have to try fishing around with screwdrivers etc.

thanks in advance.

How did you go with this?

Have a look at page 32 of the attached - explains how to release swing unit...

Pages from Electrical system1_Part1.pdf

You need special tool - Release tool - T10057-

Which seems to be widely available on eBay in the uk at least
