Fabia VRS Wheels refurbished - Pictures attached

Featured Replies

I've been trying to get my VRS back into a reasonable state & the alloy wheels have been bugging me for a long while now. While they were in pretty good physical condition with only a few minor scraps, the paint however had started to peel & bubble quite badly.

So, I finally decided to do something about it & get them refurbished.

One problem I had was I needed my car on the road & most places didn't supply a 'donor' set of wheels while they refurbished the ones off the car. However, I remembered that my brother got his refurbished a few years back & the place that did them lent him a set of spares while they did the work.

After talking to my brother I found out that the name of the company was Wheelmaniacs in Dudley, West Midlands. I live in Worcester, so it wasn't too far for me to travel. After speaking to the Seb who owned Wheelmaniacs, I booked my car in late one afternoon (they are open till 6) & got a set of donor wheels:

Not my ideal choice of colour, but beggars cant be choosers (I really hated them)

Anyway, after a week, Seb called me back to say that he had finished the wheels & I could pick them up.

I really please with the results:

All four wheels were done for £236 inc VAT. This included fitting, balancing & valves for 4 new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tyres which I supplied.

What do you guys n gals think?

That looks mint!

Like its just rolled out of the factory.

Wish mine were like that.....

Thanks.

btw - it wasn't just the outside face of the wheel that was done (some places offer this), the whole wheel got stripped & sandblasted.
