my yeti is now three years three months old I've 16k from new, always noticed audible engine noise when on tick over at traffic lights etc, its 1.2 petrol, should I be worried about the cam chain? Also have noticed an annoying rattle somewhere in the driver door when going over bumpy roads, any ideas please?   

Can't say my 1.2Tsi is noisy, but when hot it does emit some tinckling sounds at times.

 

Has yours had the full quota of services. Was it 1 or 2 yearly serviced....daft really cos you have not reached 18k yet.

 

While 16k is not a lot, I had a new clutch at 5.5K in my 2014 vehicle. Evident by noise when vehicle was sitting at an angle (in the roll direction)

 

Have someone remove the door liner for the rattle.

Do check the chain - I did not get to the garage before the engine was destroyed!
