Retired Police Traffic Officer Mike Kinsey, who photographed the scene, said: "As a former traffic police officer I have never seen anything quite like this.

"It was amazing how the occupant structure of the Skoda had remained in shape. The driver was incredibly lucky."

 

Ouch! ...but it goes to show how well designed and built Yeti's are - Interesting that the engine detached itself from the body!

That's an old photo - seen that about a year ago.

Slightly concerning that the engine detached itself from the rest of the car...

I think it was trying to shake the DPF off!
