Hello all

. Can anyone point me in the direction of a how it works what dose what on the trip computer in my octy eligance ,I don't have a handbook so any info would be nice

Thanks chaps Jim

Here is the link to the owners manual:-

https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/OctaviaTour/06-2009/Manual/A4_OctaviaTour_OwnersManual.pdf

There are three trip computers; one in the dash which you can reset with the knob at the bottom of the speed display, one which is reset automatically after two hours of the engine being switched off and finally one which shows cumulative data including miles covered.

You switch between the last two through the button on the bottom of the right hand stalk. The same button is used to clear data so don't press for too long. Cycle through the data using the button on the end of the stalk.

Start reading at the top of page 20 of the manual.

The link is to the 2006-2009 Octavia Tour which is very similar to the -2004 Mk1 Octavia.

Have fun!

Mike
