I'm soon going to be fitting a new bumper and im not fitting the headlight washers to it. Question is, can i just deactivate the washers on vagcom. Then disconnect the pipe from the pump?

Car is a 08 pre FL cr170 vrs

You can disable it with vcds or pull the fuse out (Pre-facelift and facelift)

 

If you intend to remove the pump you can buy a rubber bung from the dealers, which would allow you to sell the parts you remove

I will just remove the pipework as it'll be going back on to return to standard etc. ill just disable in vagcom as thats easy.
