Yeti electric window query.

Featured Replies

Just tried all 4 windows. Front driver's side fully retracts. Front passenger side retracts and leaves about 1/2 an inch of glass protruding. Both rears retract more than 1/2 way and stop. Is this right ?

Mines 4 months old and is the same as yours

Thanks agh321 - respect to another Jungle Green SE ! ;-)

No. It's not right.

Try resetting them.

Press and hold button to fully open the window. Then press button again.

Lift and hold the button to fully close the window. Lift button again.

You may need to disconnect the battery before this procedure, but try it without first.

Um, the back is right...look at the shape of the door and you will see they cannot go any further.

Yep, same here. The back window's on mine won't go all the way down.

Tried the reset without disconnecting the battery passenger front window the same.

Mine is January 2015, both fronts go down flush and the rears go down leaving about a third showing.

Loads of cars do this. A combination of design and safety.

?????

my 2014, both fronts flush, rears as per OPs.

OK, sorry - I missed the bit about the passenger window.  Both fronts on mine drop flush.  I was commenting on the rears, which is what people seemed to be commenting on and is normal.

I've just had a play with mine and the rears only drop to about 1/4 of the glass left.

Fronts drop all the way, even the passenger side.
