Is it possible to set up the split screen to show only when a manoeuvre is imminent ?

AFAIK, you get the next three manoeuvres on the split screen, and info for the next manoeuvre only appears on the Maxidot

Are you aware that when you have selected map you can turn the split screen on and off by pressing the map button again? This is much easier than selecting it via the extras tab.

Not possible to do what you want.

 

The only info that comes up like that is the optional lane indication when on the motorways and major roads.

 

You can have a single manoeuvre or a trio of manoeuvres, but they will be on all the time.
