New Yeti has obviously upset the Fabia !

Featured Replies

Had an email from Skoda saying the Wife's Yeti Elegance (or SE L as it now is) has been built and is on route and may be available before the end of the month

Since then her Fabia vRS has started playing up, it's obviously upset at the fact it's getting traded in  :p it's started losing water and then the engine management light came on, had to be towed in on Tuesday night, turns out the water pump has gone  with only 28k on the clock I was quite surprised, good job it's got 5 weeks of the warranty left

Is going to be next week before we get it back, so hopefully the Yeti won't be long. Wife thought she would be sad to see the Fabia go, but this has really got her thinking the Yeti can't come soon enough.  :notme:

they can tell you know, fabias have feelings too

Is it a Fabia Mk2 vRS with 28,000 miles?

It just needs new spark plugs since the OME one in cylinder 3 will be misfiring and no fault codes will be registering.

Let the Dealer know so that someone does not get landed with it and a wrecked engine.

The Service Schedule on spark plugs is to long at 40,000 miles,

and the OEM plugs were changed after her car was delivered if it is near 3 years old.

The revised ones still fail.

lots of this was resolved before your car was built.

but plenty failing now.

Ours was ordered on the 12/5 through a leasing company, originally they said it would be ready end June / early July. The email updates from them are currently saying mid July.

When did you order your one ?

Ordered through Skoda on private lease about 6 to 7 weeks ago, but I may be guessing, to be fair Skoda dealer has kept us up to date, giving us the week build number, possible delivery time etc.

I had my Octavia on personal lease and it all worked out fine

I am sure she will miss the vRS performance, although I haven't when I got rid of mine but that's one of the things of being stuck in traffic most of the time !
