Steering wheel play

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Been searching the forum and failed to get an answer that suits my situation.

So, i have like a 10mm play in my steering wheel when the wheel position locking lever is in place. If i slacken it, the whole play goes away. Now, i can't drive like this all day and i'm kinda interested on how that locking mechanism works. Maybe some screw got slackened or something.

There is no play in the joint between the 2 interlocking sliding tubes. The play only comes up when i tighten the position lever.

Any advice on this?

Thanks
