who got the long ratio box and what do they think of it? cheers

I had the super long FSM box in my 2003 vRS.

 

Only ran a stage 1 map, but 1800rpm at 70 mph meant high MPG was easy to achieve.

 

Much less gear changing required than the shorter boxes too.

Yes it seemed to suit the engine better I felt.

 

Al the torque is low down, so the gearbox makes more of it available.

I got 1 in my shed but would need to swap my diff out of mine I was thinking with the power im running it would suit it more just hope I make the right decision
