According to this page, you're looking for an 028130135F, like this one?

I think the injection pump is basically the same in the sdi Facia as the sdi octavia.

got the solenoid ok but was wondering as i haven't done one of these before is it right that the plunger and spring come out of the end?

And also when i take out the old one will the plunger and spring stay inside the pump housing?

Does anyone have any tips that will prevent any errors on my part?

Thanks gents :nerd:

Disconnect the wire from the old one. Unscrew it from the pump. Pull out any bits that may get left behind. Screw the new one in, including any loose bits (not a problem). Reconnect wire.

Did you buy the cheap one or the expensive one?

i got the one in tmb's link its sort of in the middle. tps wanted £65 quid, cheap ebay jobbies were £12.99 and this one is from gsf and it was £35 but its not a bosch one like the origonal.

Thanks for the advice i hoped it was that easy but wasnt sure it should be apart.
