I've fitted it and had it codes and it's still not working ?

Could the stalk be faulty,

Is the coding definitely correct? Have you checked your steering controller is suitable?

You gave to code the engine as well as the steering controller.

Looking at that link it's an aftermarket one, not an original Vag one.

Any fault codes logged?

We'd cleared the fault codes after the first go at setting the engine & steering controller options didn't appear to make any difference. Dan's just texted me to say it's now working, after he'd switched the ignition off & then back on - we'd left it running after the final scan.

You normally need to switch it off and on again for changes to take effect. Normally best to lock and unlock the car after making changes.

We had done after some of the other changes, but forgot to do so after clearing the faults. I've not used it enough to have the practice drilled in!

what is the part number of the stalk?

what is the part number of the steering controller?

It's all working now
