Hi, don't know if anybody can help me with this but I was looking at buying a few bits for my 2008 pd 170 octavia VRs tdi last week. I believe my model is a '1z'. But is there any difference between 1z, 1z3 and 1z bj?? Hope this makes sense, I just don't want to order the wrong parts as I'm gettin them from Germany! Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. But literally the next day I'll get another message on the screen to say updates are available and ready to install, and the sa

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Hi, I want to upgrade the screen in my octavia to 5E0919605N. I know you can plug this in and it will work but that the app button wont unless i upgrade to 3.x.x which I cant. I was wondering has anyone used any online services to remove the CP as I can source the screen and unit in the glovebox for a really good price from a breaks locally but there isn't many places in Ireland that offer retro fit services. any information would be great

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me, I own a Skoda superb 2016 dsg, I’ve been driving along and suddenly car goes into limp mode and my car won’t drive, it comes up with a number of faults, tyre pressure, parking break fault, traction control etc, I turn it off wait a few minutes and turn key again, then it drives for a few miles and does the same again, the code reader tells me it’s lost control with tcm, I’ve changed wheel bearings and abs sensors and still nothing, now my car won’t start as it
