I have come from a 1.9TDI to a 1 litre 60 and I can see the fuel gauge needle moving. It as only done 650 miles so engine not loosened up. If I filled my old car up the needle would move after 120 miles on the motorway doubt the citigo would do this. Suppose it has a smaller tank.

Yeah the tank is tiny in comparison so of course you are more likely to see it move. Mine is showing a range of around 450 miles to a tank so shouldn't move that quickly lol

10 or 15 ltr's smaller tank in the citygo

you will see 350-400 miles from a tank on the citygo, oppsed to 550-600 miles on the 1.9PD

I don't get this statement^^^^

Anyways, my fuel gauge would start to move off the full mark after around 80 miles travelled, before I got used to it I thought it was stuck.. After that it started to fall slowly towards the halfway mark, then once past the halfway it would fall more rapidly, the last few litres seemed to be used (or so said the gauge) even more rapidly. Something to do with the shape of the tank, which has been covered elsewhere in the Citigo section. I reckoned on getting on average (75psi engine) around 460 miles from a full tank doing a mainly long journey with a few short stop/starts thrown in.
