Anything is possible but I would think it was very cost prohibited.

Like the Octavia, you can fit springs to the struts so that it opens when you release the lock.

Why do you want this? I could think of a lot of other things I'd rather spend £1800 on of the sake of the whole ten seconds a day this would save.

 

Sorry, too cynical- not a fan of auto tailgates. if it's what you want then go for it

I'm in and out of my boot all day with my job. Had it on my insignia and it's probably the thing I miss most. For that money though I'm not missing it at all lol
