Octavia MKIII VRS 2014 wind noise (from front passenger door/ mirror area)

Featured Replies

Hi

As above, i'm getting wind noise from the front passenger side A Pillar/ wing mirror/ door area, very noticeable at 70+ on the motorway. Driver's side is silent.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there an easy fix?

Many thanks

Tom

The curved plastic things at the bottom edges of the windscreen can make such a noise.

I had a courtesy O3 for a few days and that car suffered from this issue.

I bended the plastic a little bit and the noise was gone.

You can apply some adhesive tape there to check if the resonation of the plastic thingy causes the noise.

Aki78 would you be so kind to post a photo of which plastic biece you bent?

TIA

Hi

Sounds great (if that really is the cause), could you please post a photo so I can see which piece you bent?

Thanks

Tom
