Hello!

My skoda badges are a little worn and I'd like to replace them with the 'new' ones. Has anyone used the new badges on a mk1 fabia, if so which were they and do you know the part number? Are there any the fit straight on, or do they all need tweaking? Obviously the back one doesn't matter as much as it doesn't need to fit into an indent or anything!

Same for steering wheel badge if possible, as mine is a bit chipped :(

I was thinking about unsticking the Skoda logo from the holder itself and printing a new sticker for it. Maybe the new logo one ... I'm wondering if this would be possible.

white lol it was red mrs idea yh straight fit clips fit perfect looks original :)

    Look in the group buy. There was a custom badge one on. There very good quality too.

    Where did you get it sprayed and is it a decent job? Someone dented my door a few yrs back and it needs panel beating and respraying, but I'm terrified about actually having it done!

    my m8 done it yeh its a decent job inside doors the lot apart from under bonnet but I got engine plans next yr so that will be white when its out im from wales abit out of your way theres a blue se breaking on ebay now mail him see how much he wants for a door and condition

    I know, but I don't trust anyone to do it well. My friend had a respray that was really bad. And I had my wheels refurbed and they lacquered a hair to them!

    Things like that annoy me!

    ebay freek!, prob sold the leather then part exchanged the car as the leather goes for good money, if the resprays crap take it back u shouldn't have a problem, as for a hair stuck to you wheel that's just being fusy... ocd?? lol

    Yeah I didn't end up complaining about the wheel, but I absolutely would not accept that on my car is kinda the point I was making haha!

    fair enough well I don't know down your way but theres some really good painters up in wales and reasonable cheap I trust 2 of them 100% I send them a lot of work so get big discounts :)

    Paint jobs sounds very cheap.

    I got quoted £150.00 to have just the bonnet resprayed Corrida Red which included getting millions of stonechips eliminated..

    I know, I also thought it should be quite a lot to have done, another thing that can make me sceptical! I guess if I make it clear that I has to be perfect, I'd just have to reject it if it wasn't.

    To add LOZ, red is one of the worst colours to have as it oxidises in the sun and fades, so colour matching is a nightmare.

    Recently did a small repair to bonnet, using skoda 2 spray pack and paint looks orange compared to rest of bonnet.

    Used rubbing compound did almost nothing to try to colour match.

    As per above, my car is race blue :)

    I don't like red - it's the last colour I would ever choose for anything!
