well as I understand it are they A) the same and B)slightly lower than the other model Fabia springs can anyone confirm this?

Diesel Monte Hatch springs might be the same as Fabia vRS Mk2 ones.

Check if Petrol Monte Hatch are the same by checking with a supplier, or someone maybe has the numbers.

 

Estate Springs at the rear are different from Rear Springs for a Hatch.

When my dad got his Monte we compared our ride heights and the Monte and standard Fabia are the same height.

But then the official Scores on the doors has the roof height above the ground as,

Standard      1,499 mm   Under Clearance 134mm

Greenline II  1,484               "           "          119 mm

vRS              1,492                                      129 mm

Monte           1,493                                      129 mm

 

Then you can get 'Sport Suspension' on Standard cars.

& vRS & Monte on OEM Springs is lower than a Standard Fabia on Standard springs when new.

 

4, 5, or even 6 mm difference in roof hight can be hard to notice.

then cars can be a few mm higher on different tyres.
