Do you need replacement ARB Clamps & Bolts when fitting Powerflex Bushes?

Featured Replies

Just order a set of Powerflex bushes for my front anti-roll bar. I heard it mentioned in the past that it might be worthwhile getting new saddle clamps & bolts when replacing the ARB bushes; indeed, a lot of oem replacement bushes come with new clamps & bolts.

So, should I get new ones? And do the powerflex bushes fit the standard factory fitted clamps ok?

If I need new ones (Current ones are 12 years old!), does anyone know the best place to get them - I cant find them anywhere without having to buy OEM bushes as part of a kit.

(Other info - saves anyone asking - Measured my ARB & it was 19mm Dia. Also have fitted the Whiteline Lateral Locks because its the 'old type' ARB)

Thanks.

use originals unless they are broke yes the fit no problems

OK cheers.

The bolts tend to damage the threads when removing them so new saddles and bolts are a very good idea.

I've had both saddles off about a year & half ago. Bolts came out ok & they are undamaged.
