Once hooked up my key fob lost all functionality . Took Head unit back out and fob works again. I really don't have a clue about electrics so any help would be great.

If you have it installed per specifications in the Sony guide, consider snipping the "pin 5" wire for the "power antenna" lead. See explanation of ISO and Skoda use of that wire in the linked topic. (Snip it in the Sony loom, not the car's loom!. It can always be scotchlocked or soldered and covered later.).

Sorted it. Thanks. Had a problem with the last unit I had when it stayed on after taking key out, that was sorted by swapping red and yellow over so thought I would try that again which worked. Key fob sorted ,stereo sorted, jobs a good un.
