I'm in the process of diy refurbing my zenith alloys. I was really happy with the colour before I lacquered them now they appear to me to have a definite blue/purple tinge. I used grey primer, peugeot steel grey paint then clear lacquer. Maybe it's just me or it's picking up the light or the lacquer has brought out the fleck in the paint. What's your thoughts? I'm not convinced. I've only done 1 wheel so far.

I can't see any blue or purple, they look pretty grey to me!

 

Get the others done, they look smart.

The bottom picture is before they were lacquered. The definitely looked grey but the on on the car to me looks bluey/purpley. Maybe it's just me.

Definitely look purple to me on that top picture. I like it, think it looks smart.  :thumbup:
