Think it's the gauge??

Depends on type atmospheric or relative and where your getting data from, map sensor will report say 3 bar even though the turbo is only producing 2 bar vags do this, probably because it's more accurate and for varying atmospheric and places below above sea level.

Just spoke to unit 18 and said it should be around 2.1 bar with my mods.

Think it needs looking at!!!!

Anyone recommend a mapper local to grays essex

Un plug your boost gauge.

problem solved.

How long have you been driving it without the gauge?

2/3 weeks

And your turbo hasn't **** it's pants yet.

I'd say the gauge was wrong.

Can you log boost pressure with vcds? If you can might want to invest in a ebay cable and download the software.

Sure it's not 35psi? Unusual to have a boost gauge that shows as high as 3.5bar, most are 2.0 2.5 at the most

Mine gauge is 2bar but goes past that an hits the - numbers on other side.

Just found a local mapper and he had a look at file and it was running 120+ mg on injectors and over 3 bar of boost.

He has remapped it but have a intermittent fault with maf as reading 480

Bet it flew with 3 bar of boost lol. Glad it's not done any damage.

He did but would not go over 3900rpm as cut out from over boosting!!
