Anyone have a pre MY16 Octavia RS with Canton.

Does it come with a storage box under the passangers seat.

If so is there much of a gap between bottom of box and top of amp when seat fully down?

Im trying to figure out if a storage box will fit above the amp.

This is the underside of my passenger seat

My MY14 VRS with Canton has a storage box under the passenger seat as standard.

With the amp there it'll be an awful lot more awkward to install.

Did you guys fit them as an aftermarket job, or did they come from the factory like that?

 

The reason I ask is because I collected mine the first week of April and all I have is the slot for a high Vis jacket under both the driver and passenger seats.

Fitted as standard. Not that big though.

Mine is ex demo, so not sure if it was an option / accessory added but i'd imagine not - so hi viz slot under drivers seat only.

 

I don't use it though, just has the manual / service info book etc in there but keeps the glovebox free from that.

Is this effected by if you have electric or manual seats?

I imagine it was a cost saving measure not to install the storage boxes.
