I was looking to get my mk1 fabia fitted with cruise control since I'll be doing a lot of miles on roads with average speed cameras and I'm terrible for putting my foot down, any ideas where I could get this done either in the north of Scotland or Edinburgh area? If not how hard is it to do it myself? Thanks!

main dealer, it might prove costly though.  The original cruise control stalk does suggest it takes 2 hours to fit. 

 

Normal mechanic rates are £40+ an hour

Someone posted a few weeks ago, dealers charged about £160 I think all supplied and fitted which is a bargain I think.

My local dealer wings of peterborough quoted me 230 all in. So 160 is very good.
