Hi yesterday was driving down the road went to put my foot down and a loud pop

Then a big puff of smoke then cut out could this be turbo

And will not start

Certainly does sound like the turbo sadly.

Turbo or boost pipe, could be either.

Does it refuse to even start even when leaving the car?

No turns over but wil not fire up

What's the best turbo to put on it

turbo shaft has exploded thus choking the engine as it can't get rid of the exhaust gases

 

replace turbo clean out all pipework should be good as new

Ha I know that feeling.

What turbo shud I buy a pd150

Get a pd150 if you can, much better turbo than the 130 plus its pretty much a bolt on replacement
