Welcome from a 4X4 Estate owner. Wonderful choice of car and a hoot to own when remapped. :D

Go for a car with a full dealer service history, in excellent condition and with as low a mileage as possible. Also get a diagnostic scan carried out if possible before buying to check if there are any recorded faults you need to be aware of, eg some of us have had Haldex ECUs showing faults. The cost of that part is around

Welcome, mums got 4x4... great car, just be sure to have a good listen for any knocks or squeeks i.e over speed humps ARB/Bushes are a very common problem on the whole A4 golf range.

Enjoy

Welcome :wavey:
