Hi, I removed the glovebox light to change the bulb and the whole unit exploded in to bits

I now have four bits,

1. the lense

2. The back with the wiring connector on it.

3. A black paddle

4. A spring

Does anyone have a photo showing how it should go back together, I can't work it out :thumbdwn:

I couldn't find any fullyworking posts on here.

My glovebox light bulb needs replacing also, but couldn't find anything in the manual about changing it.

Was going to just pull out the fitting, but not sure thats a good idea now!.... :eek:

No don't bother, get another one from a scrap yard, I'm sure it'll be the same for nearly all VAG's

I've tried rebuilding them before now, never actually suceeded.

Been to a VW scrapyard today that has a small selection of Fabias. I got a new light and took a few pics to help anyone that needs it. I've also got a spare one now! :P

It is actually quite easy to get it back together once you know which way around everything goes.
