Braided lines for cupra brembos

Featured Replies

In the process of getting a brembo conversion done & getting few bits n bobs sorted.

Would these be a straight fit onto fabia vrs without any issues?

Ebay number

111046277977

The fittings same as a leon cupra?

Read somewhere that someone had to get custom made parts to fit onto fabia due to connectors as the weren't the correct ones. (Male female ends?)

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Not looked at those on ebay tbh, I would get custom ones from HEL performance.

Use banjo bolts straight into calipers instead of the stupid little metal pipe they use on the brembos as standard :)

Alex off here has just done some for his, hes on hols atm though but will prob reply when sees this.

Cool.

Will look into that and wait for his response.

& ye i think it was him who got the custom ones after getting the wrong fitment.

Cheers for that

Yes as Kev said I have just recently bought some from HEL. I didn't like the used old bracket that goes from the centre of the caliper to the top to relocate the brake hose attachment. Hence I binned it off.

For that reason I didn't buy LCR lines as they probably wouldn't be long enough to get to the centre of the caliper.

I'll be home tomorrow, so will post up the actual dimensions and fittings when I get back. To be fair to HEL, they arrived really quickly and are excellent quality!

Cheers alex thanks for your reply.

Been trying to look at different places to gather info but its getting confusing.

The whole male and female connection thing and banjo bolts fitting.

Was looking at badger5 aswel. He had a set of lines that he does but he's come out a bit more expensive.

Ok, so thanks to Lofty for this info, as he PM'd me with it a while ago. Here's how you need to spec. out your custom brake hoses for Brembo's...

I've just taken a screenshot of my order for you, as it's easier!...

Your love life must be very complicated  :D

I think he's spot on about male and female 'connections' personally. I mean, what male ever understood a woman...

Thats brilliant

I was going to say show me what you ordered but your one step ahead of the game. Lol

Been having a go at cleaning them up and don't think I've done too bad a job of it.

No probs pal :)

Nice one they haven't come up bad at all! Mine are in pieces waiting to go to the powdercoaters to get done in green. Costing a bomb with all the new parts to rebuild all four brakes completely though! :/

Oooh i really wanted mine in green but thort I'd make a hash of it. Lol, so i stuck with the red.

The prices for a refurb are ridiculous almost the price for the actual calipers themselves!

Followed a guide off another forum and sprayed them in a clear coat ws debating wether or not to actually paint them instead...still got 1 left to do.

But so far not bad for £15
