I had a dream last night that I was a pinstriper and lived in a railway carriage in the desert in New Mexico. My dog (who walked like a human and was wearing oil-stained jeans and a lumberjack shirt and was smoking a rollie) drove into my yard and asked me to pinstripe his Fabia, which was flat black and had an iron cross etched onto the back window.

This is obviously quite sad. But the car looked good. Anyone done it to a Fabia yet?

Matte black, flat black. I think the phrase 'flat black' is more associated with the kind of paint. But yeah - 50's rat rod style. Anyone seen one?

I photographed a Passat Variant and Audi A4 estate in Belgium that had been done in matte and they looked scary. The Passat was on whitewalls and chrome trims and the Audi was decked on massive Merc Carlsson rims which had been sprayed the same colour as the car.

I think someone needs to go lie down in a darkened room :alien: :rubchin:
