Manuals etc for Superb engine

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an old VW van converted to Tdi with an engine, loom and all the gubbins from a Skoda Superb Comfort 2004. (sorry It wasnt me !!!)

Need to geek up and learn the Tdi side of things.  Whats a reliable source please for a factory workshop manual inc wiring diagram and parts manual please?  I gather its only available on CD ?   Also did Haynes do a manual for this model please?

thank you

Buy an hour's access on Skoda ERWIN website, which is repair information for 3rd party repairers.  You might need a VIN number for a car with the right engine to find the docs (not sure if you can search manually for a particular vehicle type).  All workshop manuals are available to download as PDFs.  In an hour you can probably grab the manuals for two or 3 different vehicles.  There are lots of docs there, ranging from self study guides to the complete manuals for each engine code.

Just made a review on erwin, and it is quite interesring. Its sayin 210k km for the change of timing belt and tension belt. For dusty countries it is 120k, but it is not EU.

The 4 year max time is not written there.

This is for the cfgb 170CR engine and something different that is written before here in the forum.

Any comment?;)

Ps: erwin is really good. 1hour is enough to download all related stuff.
