I've got a Superb II Estate (2011 vintage).  I just noticed today that the passenger mirror isn't tipping down when I select reverse .   It used to do so.

 

The mirror adjustment joystick/switch is in the "L" position, the Convenience "Mirror Down" option in the MFD is selected.  The car has memory seats.

 

Is there a "well known" fault/problem with these?  Have I messed up and done a "pilot error"?

Did You try to re-program it? I would do so first.

Totally open all windows and then do them up this normally resets the system

I've tried dropping the windows and holding the keyfob in the lock position to raise them all and have found this doesn't always work, but the following does...

 

Drop all the windows, then pull all four buttons up on the drivers armrest at the same time whilst holding the switches up and hold them up for 10 secs after they close.

I have had a similar problem but had a motor fitted on Monday.
