Blaupunkt Modena CD51 won't play CD & won't Eject

Featured Replies

As the title says, any ideas on removal ? Its a disc I burned myself, it worked before but I noticed when I inserted it the other day it didn't seem to go in right (I can't remember if it played after it was inserted as I think I may have put on the radio).

Any help appreciated.

I had the same problem with my Blaupunkt DAB54 and all I did was switch off the ignition and when I turned it back on again, pressed the eject button and out popped the cd. Failing that you will have to remove the unit take off the case and physically remove the cd. :(

Don't they have a little hole that you can stick a straightened paperclip in to to eject it, like PC drives?

my mum had a similar problem with her blaupunkt head unit and an auto electrician said they would have to send it to blaupunkt to repair but was going to cost more than get a new one.

RESULT - I Removed the headunit unplugged the power cable, plugged it back in and hey presto it worked :D .

Glad to hear it.

Maybe they just forget they have a CD in and only find it when they get rebooted, so to speak.
