central locking drivers door

Featured Replies

I have an issue with my driver's lock. All locks apart from driver's will work via key fob and have to lock driver's door manually. Bought new lock from eBay (posted from Europe ) fitted yesterday but still got same problem.

Could it be wiring ?

Is there a a certain way it should be done (eg like a setup position) ? As I just fitted as per original

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything like a spring has to be certain position for primary fitting before I buy another lock

Have you checked the wiring at the door hinge? Often faults there due to it being a pinch point.

Got a similar issue, appears to be temperature related. I've since stripped the door down and cleaned out the contacts which has got rid of the issue touch wood!

Got used lock mechanism from scrappers and also replaced wiring loom through door. Now sorted
