Ok bear in mind im a lady with not much technical knowledge!

My passenger front electric window will not go up. makes the right noises but also a bit a a glass grating sound if that makes sense. I've tried the key trick etc.with no luck. i now have the door card off but obviously can't get to the glass still. what can i try now? Im stuck with a window down on a Sunday when all is open is kwik fit :-(

Ok i found a link and it's probably the window regulator. so what do i do? Take it to a garage tomorrow as i don't have the tools or the spare part?

Unless you know someone that can do it for you maybe? Not sure who is around that area, either garage wise or local member that may be able to help you out. Hope you get it sorted.
