Clutch noise

Featured Replies

Hi all sorry if this has been posted before, but I have a 59 plate vrs 2.0 TFSI think it is (petrol) and occasionalu I get like a squeal noise from the Clutch when reversing up the drive and sometimes In first? The car has had a new engine within the last 1000 miles due to the timing chain tensioner snapping. And the Clutch was checked and it's not even half way through its life, any ideas? Cheers

I have had the same problem in the past, if you have a look at my posts you will see the result ended in a new clutch.

Cheers Dazzla, hope not as only had the car 3 weeks and already had a driveshaft replaced as the garage that put the new engine in the car, due to timing tensioner issue forgot to do all the bolts up hence knackered drive shaft and apparently when they changed the engine they said that the clutch wasn't even half way through its life. Thanks for th advice though, trouble with buying privately I guess
