Reattaching rear seat hinge door on Fun

Featured Replies

So I decided to take off the door to remove the compartments and deal with some rust. I've just finished the work and went back to attach reattach the door.

there are 3 bolt attachment points on the bottom of the door and 2 shock absober bars situated on the side. In order to attach the 3 points on the bottom the shock absorber bars need to be compressed which is where I'm struggling. Thinking of using a small jack to compress it or maybe remove the door completely compress the bar and hold in place with duck tape.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I don't recall any shock absorbers, just the 3 big square panels that bolt to the floor (4 bolts each IIRC).

Got any pics?
