Sourcing parking sensor kit with no sensors...

Featured Replies

Long story short, I have an Octavia vRS estate rear bumper with no sensors, but was fitted as a replacement bumper so there is no loom and no beeper etc. I'd be interested (if relatively inexpensive) to see how I can get the sensors working. :)

I assume I would need a loom and a control unit. Knowing my luck that is probably 80% of the cost of a whole kit anyway? :D

The kits are only a tenner or so anyway?

Really? Any idea where? Never bought one in my life

Try ebay!

Not to take over the topic but if you happened to find a model with this as a factory extra could one simply strip it out and place in a vrs without it?

Think this is how they are fitted may be wrong.pdccontrollerlocation.jpg
