Hi Guys,

Just fit a fiscon Bluetooth module to a 11 plate Octavia vRS. Gone into CAN bus and added telephone. When I go into the telephone section I can't access the coding. The only thing I can access is the "security access" section that requires a code.

Has anyone had any dealing like this, anyone know the access code?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The code is accepted but then nothing happens.  I was under the impression that I should now be able to access the coding section?

Looking at that pdf, it doesn't look like the fiscon actually needs coding. They only mention adding it to the installation list in the can gateway and perhaps the MFSW whilst the security code looks like it's used to reset the fiscon.

 

What problems are you trying to resolve as I think they are suppose to be plug and play. If you're local I'm more than happy to have a look but otherwise it might be worth contacting fiscon directly.

Those add on units won't have the same diagnostic capabilities as a genuine part.

its allowing access via can bus but doesn't have the same internal setup as it's not a genuine item.
