In the Car Setup menu screen there is an option to turn on/off Synchronous Adjustment for the wipers, does anyone know what this actually does ?

 

Isn't that for the mirrors?

It lets you adjust both left and right at the same time if its set in the "right" position.

Yeah - i believe it puts back wiper on when the fronts are used.

So off= no auto rear on forward motion, on= rear wiper intermittent when front wipers are on continuous ?

Think also when selected off the rear wiper does not activate when reverse is selected with the front wipers on

Not sure ... I'll have to check but think there was a separate auto rear wipe on/off on the menu screen.

It puts the rear wiper on when the fronts go into constant sweep in heavy rain. Back wipes every 5-10 front sweeps
