I've recently added a DAB dongle to my head unit. I needed a car antenna for it, so I bought the Audioleads one from Halfords (the boosted one with the foil antenna).

 

DAB reception seems crap and really variable. I drove from Teesside to London and back over the weekend and I was hearing bleeps and pops even within the M25...

 

I've installed the antenna as advised, so I'm guessing I need a better one, or is DAB just crap in the car?

 

Can anyone recommend one which doesn't need hole drilling into the bodywork (and not a magmount)?
