Have a squeaky noise not too loud but coming from by alternator area been a few weeks now and hasn't gone or got any worse when in neutral can hear it but when put some accelerater on the noise stops any help appreciated thanx.

You have a dry bearing in or near the alternator, or the auxiliary drive belt is slipping.

How do I go about that then mate ?

Take the belt of and run the car briefly mate. If the noise goes that means it's belt or pulley related.

Gonna get checked weekend sometime hopefully get sorted.

if it's the idler pulley you can strip and grease if it's not too bad----if you're a cheepskate  like me
