retrofit cruise control help required

Hi folks i have just bought a octavia vrs 170 pd and want cruise control. I have got a genuine kit but its a bit above me lol, fitting the stalk isnt a problem its the wireing. But i have been reading that i might not need to do any wireing. Can anyone help me and point me in the right direction thanks chris

It's unlikely you'll need any additional wiring. What year is your car?

That's about the time when an additional wire might have still been needed.

Do you have a VCDS scan of your car. That will indetify the relevant controllers and enable more advice to be given.

We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers

Managed to retrofit the a reverse camera to my Scala the other day, cost just under £50 with delivery from Aliexpress. No coding required, worked straight away when selecting reverse gear. Most difficult part was removing the old handle and feeding the wire through the rubber conductor in to the boot. I’ve added some photos which may help anyone else attempting to do this. Hi everyone, I am looking for some insight regarding a fueling issue on my Skoda Octavia 3 RS (2.0 TSI, EA888 Gen 3, CHHA engine, 169kW). The car is currently running an APR Stage 2 tune (ECU + TCU). The issue first appeared right after flashing APR Stage 1 at around 74k km, and now at 86k km, it has become more frequent (sometimes 3x a day, sometimes it gives peace for 2 weeks). Hi all So, the dealers replaced the passenger side window regulator a few months back as it had completey failed and the window dropped on one side. (on the same day i picked the car up from them to get a bad water leak fixed...) For the first time I attempted to drop the window all the way but notice it stops before it disappears into the door as the drivers side does. It sits slightly above the top of the door trim.
