Last ever detail of the Blackline before she goes - Liquid Elements.

Featured Replies

Well time has come to give "Diesel" (Kids name for the blue one) a good clean before we go to france in her for last time before she's traded in for
our new MK3 Candy White VRS.

1. Snow foamed with KK Blizzard (much better than magifoam I found)
2. Shampoo and Conditioned with that Pink stuff from one of Sparkly's group buy samples.
3. Sealed using LE Paint Freezer
4. Finished off with a Bit of a LE Gloss Boost
5. Finally Collinite 845 on the alloys.

Last Detail - Right rear

Last Detail - Right front

Last Detail - LE Products

Last Detail - Money Shot

Last Detail - Left Rear

Last Detail - Left Front

Not the best pictures because the sun went in so was a bit to dark to see the flake pop and sparkles in the paint.

And sadly its now raining but was quite enjoyable giving her some final TLC before she goes.

Thoughts/comments on LE Freezer and Gloss boost?

Not sure im as qualified to give a proper write up i applied them by hand just using the foam pad and it went on easy enough the sealer hazed up and was dificult buff off had to rewet in places and i was only doing a panel at a time. But the gloss boost was simple it just disapered as it was applied and really did give a bit more depth.

Thanks for the reply - confirms what i had heard previously on these...

Paint freezer can be tricky to buff off...

Gloss Boost is a doddle to use and worth applying.

Looks great buddy. Thanks for sharing, really appreciate it. Looks like gloss boost is worth a shout. Your certainly qualified enough to give write up and opinions on here buddy. Doesn't matter if you're not that experienced, makes your opinion even more valid for me.

The new owner has a nicely presented car

Get yourself up here again when you get the new one

Not sure who the new owner will be ChrisRs im trading it in at Horton's Lincoln but hopefully the new owner might end up on here and take as much care with her as we have. I might put a briskoda leaflet in the glovebox to point them in the right direction. :D .

P.S. I might take you up on your offer of a protection detail on the new Octavia. See how a pro does it :sun: . I think it might be plastered in Autoglym Lifeshine though. It was free and I wanted some scotch guard like protection on the upholstery having two small children and mucky fingers, drinks etc. I guess it will come off with a clay and rotary polish anyway to make way for some of your finest Swissvax (joking) .
