Hi all

 

We're fairly certain the Superb 3 will be our next car....but not sure on colour.

 

Have narrowed down to 2 choices:

 

Candy white with black interior

Quartz grey metallic with black interior

 

 

Thoughts ?

 

White would go quite nicely with my Candy white Yeti and would be £300-400 cheaper.

Intend on keeping for 6-7 years.

Do people reckon white will still be a popular colour after that time ?

 

 

Depends on your mileage. Mine is 105,000 miles and looks dreadful.

Once chipped, the dirt gets in and shows up.

It takes some maintenance and mine is regularly protected but still suffers.

I wont be having white again.

Only about 10k/yr, stonechips shouldn't be an issue.

Grey is brilliant for hiding the dirt. Had a grey yeti for 4 years and it always looked great

Colour choice is quite a personal thing, but FWIW my choices are:

 

1/ Moon White (metallic)

2/ Business Grey

 

I stand by my thinking that light coloured paintwork needs a dark interior and dark paintwork needs light interior to make a nice contrast.

As you say, its a very personal thing.

If you like a light interior and you like white...why not?

Why does there have to be a contrast.

I don't get it.

Personally I just think they look a bit classier when they contrast, no other reason.

Have been to a couple of dealers today 

 

Moon White - did not inspire me at all I was hoping it would be easy to spot the metallic (hoping it would of had a pearl effect also) I won’t be getting Moon White  :no:

 

But I found the colour that I DO like a lot .... Metal Grey.... which is not available on the Superb 

 

So it looks like it is back to my 1st choice of Business Grey / Beige leather???

I thought Quartz Grey was same colour as Metal Grey - just a name change

Not sure, the Metal Grey is sill showing on the Fabia and Rapid configurator but on the Superb the option is Quartz Grey

 

Metal Grey has a slight green tint to it.

 

Actually I think you are right... they both have the F6F6 paint code!!  :evil:
