had the car about 2 months now, and after a new gearbox under warranty, its now running great . However, the tight sports seats are giving me back pain.  I've got quite big shoulders and I feel like they are being forced forward by the side bolsters .  I realise have been various threads on this, but haven't found any recommending specific cushions that will fit within the confines of the seats . I'm going to look at  one that Halfords do, although reckon that it will be too wide  .

 

Probably looking for one of the wedges for the bottom part and then another cushion up the back . there are hundreds on the web, but would be good if someone has tried one that fits ( and helps ).  thanks

I have tried and owned many,  but this is the best i have.

But i have had it for years now,  It was bought in a Mobility Equipment Shop & was at least £35 way back.

Very firm, well made, and worth every penny, if not more.

(and i am tight fisted.)

 

It is marvelous for many different seat types either to sit on, or behind my back.

If its being used on any particular car i put a Seat Cover on to hold it in place.

I really could not drive a Fabia vRS without using it to sit on as i get a dead leg and lower back pain.

 

Sorry no idea of the Make / Maker, i will go have a look inside the cover to see if i can.

(PS, nothing in all my driving has been as comfortable as a S60)

ok thanks, I get the idea  is it wedge shaped rather than flat ? .  similar to you I am coming to this from a Volvo S60 which I still have. going from one car to the other the seats are night and day.  going back into that and wafting about ( T5 Auto ) is a pleasure

I have various Wedges, Seat covers etc gathered over the years, gifts, picked up in Salvage / Scrap yards and the likes, and mostly they are just soft foam.

The one in the Picture is so handy for using in different vehicles because it can be turned upside down to sit on, either way if used behind your lower back.

Just very versatile, but looking online at the various ones, Office, Home, Vehicle Cushions i can not see another similar.

 

Best look into a Mobility Scooter / Disability Equipment Shop and see if you can find one suitable.
