I have a 2014 Octavia. My in - law's have a 2014 Rapid Elegance. My Octavia does a confirmation beep when you unlock and lock the car. I was wondering if this could be activated on the Rapid? I have had a look within the MFD but can't see anything?

Furthermore, is it possible to enable one press unlock?

Yes, both the audible beep on lock/unlock can be enabled, as can full unlocking on a single press of the keyfob.

I have done both of these on my Rapid using Carista (can also be done with VCDS).

OP, get yourself the Carista app (iOS and Android versions available) and a cheap £5 OBD2 wireless fault code reader. You'll be able to turn on a whole load of features inc. needle sweep, digital speedo display, teardrop and speed-sensitive windscreen wipers, single-press unlocking, audible beep on lock/unlock and so on.

The developers of Carista are also looking at adding the ability to enable Hill Hold Assist on models with the right type of ABS unit as well.

Yes, Carista is compatible with the Octy as well, so you'll be able to switch on various things there as well.

I've got both on mine but I hate the audible chirp now. It's so loud.

Specially at night when you sleep and your neighbour locking and unlocking his car :P ... That's the reson...

It is yes. When I put it in the garage late at night it makes a loud chirping noise. Sounds like a cheap aftermarket alarm.
