Standard Equipament - Different Versions

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I'm from Portugal, so I don't know if the 3 versions are the same as in UK. Here we have Active, Ambition and Style. If I'm not mistaken the equivalent in UK is S, SE and SEL (Active is the lower version).

I've been searching on the net and in skoda site but I can't find information regarding the different equipament each version brings. I've ordered and Ambition (SE) version one and half month ago but I'm thinking changing it to Style (SEL) (it has 16" alloy Beam wheels instead 15") and gain some more extra equipment.

Can anyone point me where to find such information? What are the "extras" Style (SEL) version as comparing to Ambition (SE)?

And from the 3 radios, Swing, Bolero and Amundsen, which is the better?

Hello,

The trim level names are the same in Ireland, I'd guess the spec is similar/same too?

Here are links to the Irish brochure and pricelist, they might help you.

Swing is the standard radio, Bolero is the next step up with a larger touchscreen plus Smartlink, Amundsen is the top radio and has Sat Nav built in. (You can get sat nav on the Bolero using your smartphone)

Hope that helps!

Thanks guys!

The front centre armrest is "adjustable"? I mean, is it in a fix position of can be moved.

It's adjustable, on a sort of ratchet. If you start with it in the vertical position (i.e. folded out of the way, between the seats) it can be lowered right down to near-gearstick level, then brought up a click at a time to set its height. If you raise it too far, you just have to repeat the process and have another go. Works ok and is very comfortable once you get it set. Better than I thought it would be, in what is a fairly small car.

Thanks! Unfortunately its too late to change the order so Ill have to stick with the Ambition :)

watch out !

Since I'd never heard of Kessy and was generally bamboozled by all the tech anyway (e.g. naively assuming that satnav was now standard in most cars). I didn't know that I would get Kessy Go (or what that was exactly). When I read the manual I thought Kessy hmm that's pretty neat - glad it came with that .. only to discover that the reason why I couldn't unlock the doors by grasping the handle (believe me, I tried!!) was that I had Kessy Go. In hindsight, I would have preferred full Kessy

~ caveat emptor.

Yep KESSY GO is just keyless start :-(

The half-cocked Kessy Go seems a strange thing to offer and ripe for confusion amongst customers. Virtually all other companies offering such a thing just give you the whole set up if you want to make the jump from an old-school key.
